What Is The Film Festival About?
Shorts For A Good Cause
Instead of a short that is someone’s creative idea of a story, the team is to find a ministry that could use a short video piece to help tell their story. Take the team and talents God gave you and help a ministry by giving them the service of your time and equipment by creating a film they can use to further their cause.
Mission & Message
A film maker must collaborate and work with the ministry on their mission and message to create a story to assist them in their communication about their work. It must be a dramatic story and not just a news story or commercial. Tell the story!

Awards & Wins
Awards will be given after films are submitted and reviewed by our judges. With CCFF, the mission to help a charity spread its message is more important than any award that can be given. The Christian Charity Film Festival will post the videos on its website and app along with the award and a donate button to link to the charity.
Tell The Story
There is an abundance of research that suggests most decisions (some say up to 90-95%!) are based on emotion. One study found that purely emotional marketing campaigns are nearly twice as effective as campaigns that solely use logic (16% to 31%).
Nonprofits Have the Best Stories!
No one has heartstring-pulling stories like nonprofits. Their work changes lives. They improve our communities. They serve the underserved. Too often nonprofits use statistics to show the impact and descriptions of services to court donations and volunteers. Lean into the emotional stories.
Examples of stories you can use in marketing and fundraising:
USE WHY: the reasons behind a charity's mission.
SUCCESS AND IMPACT STORIES: Testimonials by volunteers and those who have been helped.
TESTIMONIALS: by volunteers and those who have been helped.
And don’t forget to show how donations are used (this is big).
Film Festival: Start to Finish!
A Win for everyone involved! Let's Celebrate!
It is suggested but not required that the ministry receive the statue and the production company or person receiving the certificate to honor the ministry that was the subject of the film. The cost of the award show only is $75 the full weekend is $150. Suggested dates for 2024, Aug 2nd and 3rd. Registration and Dinner on the 2nd with a keynote and 3rd screenings, breakouts, and awards dinner. There will be limited seating, so get your tickets early.
